Coaching string orchestra rehearsals, chamber music ensembles,and working on special administrative projects at the San Francisco Unified School District’s magnet high school for the arts - Ruth Asawa School of the Arts (SOTA). Ran the annual overnight weekend field trip to Cazadero music camp. Managed interaction with the district, meeting legal and compliance requirements, transportation planning, all financial activities including pricing, budget, scholarships and donations; interaction with parents and students, scheduling, and coordinating onsite recreational activities as well as coaching sectionals on site. During distance learning, conducted a strategic review of challenges and successes in online teaching. Interviewed all the Artists in Residence, documented feedback, and created a list of best practices for online teaching. Launched and managed an Introduction to Chamber Music program for the underclassmen. Managed assigning students to the quartets, allocating practice spaces, and coached 4 quartets from day one to performance. Support the orchestra director in daily management of a 75 person orchestra and special projects.
