Leading a volunteer organization of 55 accomplished women-one Club of 2,500 Soroptimist Clubs in our Federation. Raised more than through our Music Bingo/live auction fundraiser dinner. Received unrestricted grants from two financial institutions. Provided grant support to several local nonprofits and 1 international organization, plus scholarships to twenty deserving young women from high school through college. Conducted classes for middle and high schoolers, focused on goal setting, planning, and resilience. Served as Board Member for Soroptimist Village Foundation, a low income housing project in Norwalk, overseen by a consortium of Soroptimist Clubs.
