I\'ve just published a René Girard anthology,\"All Desire Is a Desire for Being,\" with Penguin Classics. I am the author of \"Czesław Miłosz: A California Life\"(2021) and \"Evolution of Desire: A Life of René Girard\"(2018), which was reviewed in the New York Review of Books, the Wall Street Journal, the Times Literary Supplement, and others.
