Today’s propulsion solutions are no longer separated engine, emission, and vehicle systems, but rather are highly integrated solutions with calibrations and approaches working in synergy to meet the ever more stringent emissions and GHG standards, while continuing to offer more progressive customer features. Technology demands have increased the number of new features, devices, concepts, strategies and approaches, requiring close attention to technology readiness for successful navigation and development of well integrated systems. The focus of my efforts involves working with highly specialized teams to explore new and emerging engine, emission and vehicle strategies and technologies to evaluate and evolve the readiness of prototype concepts to production intent solutions.
