ABOUT CYNTHIA SANDOVAL RUBENSTEIN

I am a Cancer Biology Ph.D. extremely passionate in advancing the knowledge and fight against cancer. I have been actively working within the cancer research realm since 2009 in laboratories conducting cutting edge research on cancer metastasis. During my undergraduate and graduate careers I have had the opportunity of obtaining numerous skill sets and have particularly excelled at 3D culture modeling, confocal microscopy, timelapse microscopy, and immunofluorescence among many others. In addition to basic laboratory techniques, I have also had the privilege of mentoring a number of young scientific thinkers from various undergraduate research programs including the MARC, UBRP, and ROCK programs. In my professional career, I have managed numerous projects (clinical trials/IIS), and identified, engaged and maintained numerous relationships with KOLs and HCPs in both solid and hematological malignancies. I have a vested interest in the cancer diagnostic field, specifically precision oncology diagnostics for solid tumor and hematology with a concentration in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies. I wish to further my experience and skill sets by being a part of a team of critical thinkers looking to forward the field of cancer diagnostics and therapeutics.
