About Cynthia Reed

Building on a highly rewarding corporate and legal career, including as General Counsel of Hasbro, as well as an angel investor and corporate board director, I have embraced one of my long standing professional passions - guiding and mentoring senior executives - as part of my own portfolio career.Over the course of my career, I have worked in many industries and functional areas including global manufacturing and consumer products, banking, insurance, legal and compliance. I have extensive knowledge of mergers, acquisitions and integrations, board governance and entrepreneurial financing and operations. As an angel investor, I have broad and deep experience evaluating leadership teams, business models, management and operations, and financing plans of start-ups, with particular focus on the biotech, IT, telecommunications and consumer products industries. It is often cutting edge and very exciting!Currently, I am a C-Suite Advisor and Executive Coach in LHH’s International Center for Executive Options (ICEO). It is a dream assignment for me to assist highly accomplished, successful and sophisticated executives to transition from their organizations to their next career or post career lives. I have coached every C-suite position, often from highly regarded Fortune 100 multinational companies or other professional services organizations. I have had and currently still have the pleasure of serving on several corporate and not-for-profit Boards, experience which includes governance, finance & audit, compensation and CEO transition committee assignments. My board experience includes financial services, insurance and consumer products industries, as well as non-profits in the healthcare, economic development and philanthropic arenas. I taught and frequently present on business law and leadership issues including at Harvard Law School, Harvard Business School, Babson University and Northeastern University.
