Cynthia McConathy serves Brinks Home as their Sr. Director of Internal Audit, proactively incorporating controls and compliance best practices during project participation. Her team monitors control design adequacy and operating effectiveness via SOX key control testing and close interaction with operational departments. Previously she served as the Director of Internal Audit at Emerge Energy Services and as a Risk Assurance Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, conducting value-added internal audit projects, testing system conversions and managing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory considerations. While Director of SAP Security & Controls at BNSF Railway, she led their SAP GRC security and SOX software implementations, presenting results at several national SAP technical conferences. As Director of Internal Audit for The Bombay Company, Inc, she implemented and led their Sarbanes-Oxley program from 20••••07 and served on their PCI credit card privacy task force. During that time, she served on the National Retail Federation\'s Internal Audit Advisory Council. Prior to joining Bombay, she held roles in Internal Audit and IT at AEGON / Transamerica, managing audits and programs including HIPAA Information Security compliance and Business Continuity. Cynthia started her career as an external auditor with Price Waterhouse. Cynthia received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida State University, graduating with honors.
