Executed the duties of acting lead government legislation liaison working with Public Policy, Government Relations, and the Blues Association to ascertain horizon landscape as they pertain to the healthcare industry and influence changes when possible.Notable Achievements: Masterminded and led a two-year business opportunity assessment for a new contract generation system that was presented to the C-level executives, resulting in the approval of the full two-year funding request— Saved the company ~$1.5m per year in the licensing fees of three different production systems. Identified, analyzed, and captured process value around the non-standard product development process during recent mergers which reduced overall touches from 22 to 3 and FTEs from 7 to 2. Leveraged Six Sigma background, in analyzing the year-over-year (YOY) VBOI objections to the Qualified Health Plan (QHP) submissions and created a new process that allows for better accuracy. — Reduced YOY errors by 68%. Mounted strategies to stop automization of the small group healthcare market space within one year.
