Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. As the Chief Development Officer, I\'m honored to lead this incredibly dedicated team that is responsible for collaborating with board members, leadership and staff to build the organization\'s fundraising capacity. This includes managing the fundraising and communications efforts that will position this organization as a driver of youth change in the Portland-Vancouver region. Since 2016, I have built the fundraising team from one to five employees and have engaged numerous volunteers in rewarding fundraising and marketing initiatives. In 2017-18, I served on the national marketing task force for a new, modernized look and brand positioning for all affiliates around the nation. In 2018 and 2019, the organization achieved Gold Standard status as one of the top 5% performing affiliates in the country.
