Provide effective supervision, coaching and leadership to managers and staff including the Accounting Manager, Payroll Supervisor and the Billing Analyst- Ensure that all Agency policies and procedures are followed within the fiscal department- Provide leadership that facilitates an engaged, empowered workforce that operates in alignment with the agency’s values and provides the highest levels of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders- In collaboration with the Human Resources Director, ensure effective communication and management of cross operational areas such as benefit administration, workers compensation, pay scales, payroll, etc- Serve as the primary point of contact for annual financial statement audits and ensures the successful completion of the annual financial audit and filing of required reporting and information tax returns with appropriate agencies within specified timelines- Collaborate with the Director of Financial Analysis and Application Support in the development and implementation of new procedures, financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems within the programs and the Victor Administrative office. Work with accounting staff, program staff, and managers to ensure proper implementation- Ensure that financial statements and reports for each Victor entity are completed in a timely and accurate manner, and in accordance with Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP)- Ensure all closing activities including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet, reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate fashion; work with Financial Analysis team to ensure cost allocations are also completed accurately within established deadlines- Maintain and oversee a cash management process to maximize the Agency’s cash flow; execute check signing as needed- Assist the CFO with tasks and projects as assigned
