I’ve always been a persuader. As a child, I would convince a teacher to give the whole class an extension or have my mom buy something she clearly didn’t need. It was a fun thing to do. Then I realized persuasion could also be a job. Once the word “marketing” became part of my vocabulary, I knew this was the career for me. While exploring marketing as a career path, I\'ve learned that marketing is not just about inducing customers to do what you want; it’s using creativity and data-driven analyses to deliver value to customers. At my first marketing internship, I immersed myself in the world of social media marketing and created content with the customer in mind. I even find ways to incorporate marketing at jobs that aren’t centered around it. When my team was launching a new learning management system, I wrote internal communications and brainstormed ways to market the platform. Which leads me to today. Yes, I\'m a marketing major. But, before anything else, I\'m a passionate, creative, data-driven individual ready to deliver value to your company, and most importantly, to your customers.
