Hi there!My job has always been centered around facilitating and providing students with the opportunity to succeed within their aspirations of attaining their higher education degree. As a first-generation college student, my positive undergraduate experience influenced my decision to enter the field of higher education. I have enjoyed interacting with students in helping them realize their own potential especially when they couldn\'t see it on their own. Since entering the field, my career interests and fulfillment have expanded beyond helping students. Through my continued educational and professional experiences, I have learned the following about myself:1. I do a great job of taking big ideas and actualizing them into concrete plans. I do this by focusing on key outcomes, creating systems and processes, and coordinating decision making for stakeholders.2. I have exceptional project management skills. I accomplish this by establishing clear goals and metrics, optimizing systems to set deadlines and track progress, effectively balancing stakeholder input, and being flexible and adaptable to changes.3. I continue to educate and refine myself in order to be a better leader and person.
