As the Executive Director at the Detroit College Access Network (DCAN), I direct and lead the strategic planning process for 58 high schools, ensuring alignment with DCAN\'s mission and goals. By implementing effective programs and initiatives, I have significantly advanced college access and readiness among Detroit students, resulting in an increase in college enrollment rates. Maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders, including regional and national organizations, facilitated an increase in partnership engagement, amplifying our impact. Moreover, my strategic budget management, including spearheading fundraising efforts totaling over $1.1 million, has led to a 15% increase in program funding utilization, maximizing resources for student support initiatives. Through my leadership, DCAN achieved tangible outcomes and continued to positively impact the lives of Detroit students.
