About Erin M.

I am a Senior International Fellow at CSFI, with over 10 years of active service in cybersecurity leadership, my main focus is implementing security controls and utilizing best practices in device lifecycle and change management. I\'ve tackled creating policies and performing risk analysis for small & medium businesses as well as in education, providing straight forward documentation that is easy to use and understand. I\'m a people person and pursue good communication across the board. Assessing situations, surveying, and applying formulas, are the key skills I use to calculate both quantitative and qualitative risk. Statistics, Communication, and Governance in Cybersecurity were the top 3 courses most applicable to what I do now, throughout obtaining my stack of degrees.Working in many sectors has shaped me into being versatile and highly adaptable: Venture Capital Startups, Small & Medium Businesses (SMB\'s), Corporate, Finance, Medical, Insurance, Government, Military, as well as Navigating on a Global Scale. R&D is a lifestyle for me, and I regularly volunteer my time (as many people have done for me) to work with people and projects I believe in; Security, building communities, and economic growth. My most recent project is a CSFI publication on the \"Evolution and Future of Drone Usage in Warfighting Domains.\" Currently, I have two irons in the fire supporting an economic based product and the other a physical/cycbersecurity product. As a University Instructor I teach a wide range of subjects such as ethical hacking, digital forensics, incident response and game theory. I have a vested interest in the people who are our future in cybersecurity. I am passionate about individuals in the workforce being active participants in their personal and professional security measures. There is hardly a distinction where one stops and another begins. Please reach out if you\'d like to professionally connect, and or share common interests and goals.
