Report to the Board of Directors and is responsible for guiding the Board in developing the vision and strategic plan for the organization and for the successful implementation of that plan; Lead in a mission-driven environment providing strong leadership to increase its technology, visibility, funding, and development of its programs; Create and present annual strategic plans that drive the business forward and balance both innovation and security; Define corporate direction while providing guidance and direction on where technology can facilitate business; Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals; Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage; Build quality assurance and data protection processes; Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance; Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology; Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors; Connect strategic plans with long term financial forecasts ensuring there is clear connection between strategy and underlying drivers of growth within models.
