I am a Partner at PilieroMazza PLLC, a law firm specializing in government contracts, business and corporate law, labor and employment, and complex commercial litigation. We support small and large businesses in their efforts to secure federal government contracts, retain such contracts, and comply with the web of laws and regulations related to those contracts and other dealings with the federal government. Further we prosecute and defend bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, we defend contractors in suspension and debarment actions, and we represent federal contractors in connection with a wide variety of audits and investigations.For over 25 years PilieroMazza has also focused specifically on federal small business law. We have assisted clients to secure small business certifications or maintain compliance with the rules and regulations for a number of small business programs, including: the Department of Veterans Affairs\' VetsFirst program (through certification by the Center for Veterans Enterprise), and the Small Business Administration\'s HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and 8(a) programs. We also assist clients in compliance with all Small Business Administration size regulations, including creation of joint ventures, mentor/protege agreements, and teaming agreements.
