About Cameron Ali Wühr

With over two decades in higher education, I have a background in both Academic Affairs and Student Affairs. In my faculty role, I have extensive experience in: curriculum development and assessment, classroom management, student development theories, teaching and learning theories, universal design for teaching and learning, educational psychology, and incorporating educational technology in the 21st century classroom. In my administrative role, I have comprehensive experience in: academic advising and coaching, peer mentoring, enrollment planning and management, program and project management, grant and budget management, and student and staff development. Coaching is an extension of my teaching. My philosophy is focused on building foundational athletic skills while fostering a love for the game. I specialize in teaching young athletes teamwork, discipline, and resilience, aiming to support their growth both on the court/field and in their personal development. I have coached baseball and basketball for Lynden Youth Sports (LYS) for several years and it is so transformative and rewarding. LYS is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization that provides affordable, recreational athletic leagues from kindergarten to 12th grade within Lynden and the surrounding areas.
