As part of the External Affairs and Communications Team, I am responsible for day-to-day development operations and the coordination and organization of donor stewardship and engagement. I also work closely with organization leadership and our board of directors to manage fundraising initiatives.In this role, I also remain the manager for our 100% donor funded Emerging Leaders Program, providing young nominees from across the Global Ties Network with skill development virtually throughout the program year and in-person at our annual Global Ties U.S. National Meeting.

With nearly 7 years in the international exchange and public diplomacy sector, I am an experienced program manager and burgeoning non-profit fundraising professional. I am passionate about empowering the upcoming generations with the skills and knowledge needed for them to act as citizen diplomats and represent their home communities from Washington, DC to overseas. Additionally, thanks to my time at Kansai Gaidai University and later the JET Program, I hold study / work abroad close to my heart and am always excited to learn about organizations providing more people with international opportunities.
