About Curtis Warren
Cell and molecular biologist dedicated to the eradication of human disease. Focused on metabolic disease at Boehringer Ingelheim.During my postdoc, I studied metabolic disease using human pluripotent stem cells and animal models in Chad Cowan\'s lab at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. My work there ranged from in vitro population genetics using iPSCs, to proteogenomics, to disease modeling with genome-edited pluripotent stem cells, to bioengineering novel adipocyte culture platforms.During my graduate training I studied cancer and extracellular matrix biology at Rice University in Cindy Farach-Carson\'s lab using cellular and animal models to study the regulation and evolutionary origins of the HSPG2/Perlecan gene.Specialties: Cancer Biology, Matrix Biology, Bone Biology, Metabolism, Genome Editing, Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Biology, Differentiation, Adipose biology
