As the Director of Medical/ Surgical and Infusion Services at UT Health East Texas, I oversee the daily operations and quality of care of two key departments with more than 100 staff members. With over 22 years of nursing experience, I have developed and implemented policies, procedures, and best practices that ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes.I am also an instructor at the American Heart Association, where I teach Basic Life Support (BLS) classes to healthcare professionals and the public. My passion is to empower and inspire others to achieve excellence in their roles and careers. I have a Master\'s degree in Health Care Administration and a Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing, and I am proficient in Electronic Health Records, Orthopedics, and Patient Advocacy.
