Key Accomplishments: • Developed and co-championed an annual community event for digital equity and family engagement— “Tech Fest and Back to School Bash.” • Championed a digital equity program (empowerCMSD) for providing computer devices, subsidized residential internet, and digital literacy to students and families. • Collaborated with private sector organizations and fortune 500 companies to raise $3.5 million to support digital equity. • Established a partnership with a national non-profit organization to provide low-cost technology to families and free computer devices for all graduating seniors. • Led implementation of WIFI and tracking technology on 200+buses for student safety and attendance tracking. • Co-championed an initiative with the Cleveland Public Library for universal use of a Cleveland Schools student ID badge for technology use and accessing digital resources at the library. • Led the district’s data center move to the cloud for technology resiliency, flexibility, automation, and cost optimization.
