   Curt Girod is the Chief Operating Officer for North America at Cognizant. Prior, Curt lead the Transformation Office for Cognizant\'s CEO. Before, Curt was Global Head of Operations for Cognizant\'s President. Curt joined Cognizant in 2010 in Cognizant\'s Banking and Financial Services Business Unit - with role as COO, Business Unit Leader, Head of Cognizant Consulting and others - to drive business performance enabling them to achieve their revenue and profitability targets while maintaining high client and employee engagement. These strategic, hands-on roles included day-to-day operating activities, including strategy, business planning and budgeting, forecasting and sales pipeline management, revenue and profit optimization, pr0ductivity improvement and risk management. Previously, he was the Chief Strategy Officer for Banking and Financial Services, heading Banking and Financial Serives Strategy, Marketing, Communications, Analyst Relations, and the Strategic Engagement team, as well as leading the strategic business unit with key accounts in the government business. He joined Cognizant in 2010, to lead the Global Cognizant Business Consulting Practice, which under his helm grew double digits worldwide across over 700 professionals.
