Executive Director over many youth program services including; Runaway Homeless Youth Shelter Programs, Transitional Living Program, Street Outreach, Youth Drop In Center, Project Safe Place, and Rapid Rehousing for youth in crisis ages 12-24. With over 25 years of dedicated service to at-risk youth, I’m passionate about building systems and teams that empower young people to thrive. As Executive Director of Sea Haven for Youth, Inc, I lead with purpose and compassion — fostering growth, resilience, and innovation in every area we serve, from homelessness and behavioral health to crisis intervention and beyond.Under my leadership, Sea Haven has grown from a small out-of-home crisis provider into one of South Carolina’s most respected multi-service agencies. In just five years, we’ve expanded to six programs, delivering a continuum of care rooted in respect, dignity, and opportunity. Our work has been recognized with honors including the 2022 Non-Profit of the Year and Bank of America’s Community Champions Award.I lead through situational and transformational leadership, with a belief that great leadership is about inspiring others, nurturing potential, and creating cultures where teams excel together. the agency administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. Works with board of directors in order to fulfill the organization mission. Develops resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization. Works with board and staff to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning and community outreach.
