Update 2018: This year (and part of last) brings another interesting GCO project - CDD! Customer Due Diligence is all about monitoring risk. It is a data intensive effort that is expanding my horizons. Jan 2017 - I had a great opportunity to implement an OFAC system. If you don\'t know what that is, Google it and check it out. It was challenging and very interesting. Another of one of the projects I\'m leading will implement a system to track use of Outside Legal Counsel by the firm. Oct 2015 - I was the IT lead on a project to implement a new cloud based LMS (Learning Management System) The system is now up and running, helping to track and monitor the training for over users!I have worked most of my career in the financial services industry. My expertise prior to 2010 was in Payroll and Supply Chain, with a focus on the systems supporting those functions, primarily PeopleSoft Financials/SupplyChain. Since 2010, I have been supporting the GCO/Compliance division at Thrivent, working with the technology solutions they use to meet their business needs.Over the course of my career I have been involved in many projects from initial software review/selection all the way through implementations, and then maintaining the applications facilitating system changes and upgrades. My roles have varied from individual contributor to the lead for a particular business area to a project lead and as a manager.In 2007 I completed the Masters program at UW-Oshkosh, receiving a Masters degree in Business Administration. I have been able to work on a wide variety of projects over my career, and I believe my strengths are to get results through relationships. I enjoy working with others to bring new solutions to life and to improve existing processes for the benefit of the company, its owners and employees.Specialties: End user system support, Training, Problem resolution, Business Process Improvement, Vendor Management.
