ABOUT DANIEL CURRIER

Daniel Currier is an accounting professional from Attleboro, MA responsible for conducting audits within the Not-for-Profit, Government & Education Niche at Withum, a premier national accounting firm.While at the Foxborough Regional Charter School, he was imbued with its motto:\"Enter to Learn, Exit to Lead.\" Upon his high school graduation in June 2021, he took this motto to heart by becoming a student leader at Westfield State University. Daniel held progressive leadership positions in the Student Government Association, including as Student Trustee. Notable projects/initiatives that Daniel worked on include a fundraising campaign for an investments and data analytics laboratory and the submission and presentation of a report on how Westfield State University can grow more sustainable.Daniel has held accounting internship positions, including at the Office of the Comptroller of the Commonwealth, where he developed process documentation related to the development of the proposed fringe benefit and payroll tax rate - a process that affects all benefitted Massachusetts state employees. To demonstrate his interest in government accounting and auditing, Daniel successfully passed all three (3) Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Exams prior to the end of his undergraduate studies.In addition to his current position at Withum, Daniel is completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program at UMASS Lowell and studying for the CPA Exam.
