About Curran J. Smith

I’m a 3D designer and creative technologist focused on turning ideas into clear, functional, and build-ready models. My work centers on 3D modeling, CAD design, and prototyping, with a strong understanding of how digital designs translate into real-world fabrication.I specialize in creating models that are not only visually clean, but practical to manufacture, iterate, and deploy. With hands-on experience in CNC machining and 3D printing, I design with real constraints in mind — tolerances, materials, assembly, and workflow. In addition to design and fabrication, I work in visual media and event photography, documenting creative work and live environments. This cross-disciplinary background helps me think holistically about form, function, and presentation.I’m currently open to freelance, contract, and project-based work, including:3D modeling & CAD designProduct concepts & prototypingDesign for CNC & 3D printingIterative design & optimizationVisual media for creative projectsIf you’re looking for a designer who understands both digital form and physical execution, I’m always open to a conversation.
