darc is the only international magazine dedicated to decorative lighting in architecture and interior design.Established in October 2012, darc focuses on the best high-end, quality projects and products and hears from those at the forefront of creative design. As well as the printed magazine, which is sent to thousands of decision-makers in the interior and lighting design sectors, its online presence includes a dedicated website for up-to-date industry news; monthly newsletters, and a digital issue of the magazine.I am in charge of content sourcing and creation for the print and digital magazine, collaborating directly with designers, PR consultants, and manufacturers. I also play an active role in industry events as well as in-house [d]arc media events including the [d]arc awards,[d]arc sessions, and LiGHT expo. At these events, I fulfil various roles including conference moderator, photographer, and social media manager.

ABOUT SARAH CULLEN
With a degree in Photography and Journalism, Sarah has always had a strong interest in storytelling through various mediums. After graduation, she moved to Manchester, UK, to embark on a new life and professional career. This marked a wonderful change from growing up in the sleepy countryside of Suffolk, and she fell in love with the city and all the exciting opportunities it presented. Gathering various work experiences across both journalism and photographic fields, she landed a new role as Editorial Assistant in 2017 for arc magazine at [d]arc media. Sarah quickly rose up the ranks to become Editor for darc magazine (arc’s sister publication) within four years. She is now responsible for content sourcing and creation within the magazine and across its digital platforms. Sarah also plays an active role in [d]arc media\'s events – the [d]arc awards,[d]arc sessions and LiGHT expo, all of which involve public speaking, hosting, and maintaining client relationships. Sarah has a growing passion for interior design and product design and continues to immerse herself in the design communities to broaden her knowledge and network of industry friends.
