He finds himself in daily conversations with top advisory teams discussing the competitive landscape, prospecting, organic and inorganic growth, storytelling, word choice, resource menus, insourcing vs. outsourcing, investor needs research, business exits, liquidity events, marrying estate plans to portfolios, tax-sensitivity, and more.Mr. Roberts and Advisor Engagement are tasked with uncovering industry trends and financial advisor challenges while working to ensure BlackRock\'s lineup of resources and internal processes evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of wealth managers nationwide. He specializes in helping advisors attract and retain high-net-worth clients.Prior to his current role, he spent 18 years at BlackRock as an advisor consultant and the Market Leader for Tennessee & Kentucky. Mr. Roberts joined the firm in 2004 after receiving degrees in both Communications and Economics from the University of Delaware.
