With over a decade of experience in the biotechnology industry, I am a passionate and driven operations leader who strives to improve the efficiency, quality, and impact of the biotech sector in Virginia. As the Vice President Operations at Virginia Bio, I oversee the daily operations of the organization, manage the budget and financial reports, and coordinate the events and programs that promote the innovation and growth of the biotech ecosystem. I also leverage my skills in process improvement and social media marketing to enhance the visibility and reputation of Virginia Bio and its members, and to advocate for the interests and needs of the biotech community. In my previous roles as the Director of Operations and the Communications Director & Industry Specialist at Virginia Biotechnology Association, I was responsible for developing and implementing the operational and communication strategies, managing the membership and sponsorship relations, and facilitating the collaboration and networking among the biotech stakeholders. I am proud to be part of a team that supports and empowers the biotech industry in Virginia, and I am always eager to learn new skills and best practices that can help us achieve our mission.
