ABOUT CHRISTINA NOWAK

I am a media and entertainment executive operating at the high-stakes intersection of marketing, commercial strategy, and creative technology. For over fifteen years, I have architected growth and established global partnerships across the film, TV, immersive and gaming, navigating environments that range from high velocity start-ups to market leaders in their respective fields. My approach is rooted in a \"Business Design\" philosophy, analytical yet creative. I believe sustainable business is deeply understanding the entire customer lifecycle and the competitive landscape. By assessing strategy, commercial, operations, and marketing in unison, I identify the specific niches that others overlook to design the ecosystems that allow innovation to scale.My career is defined by a 360-degree view of the industry, underpinned by a commitment to driving impactful change, whilst shepherding social responsibility in a new age of storytelling. I am a frequent contributor to the global industry dialogue and am regularly trusted to lead conversations as a host and moderator, with the Royal Television Society and the Media and Production Technology Show being notable examples. My insights are further shaped by my role as a global speaker at the Venice Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, and IBC, alongside my experience producing and hosting podcasts within the creative technology space.As the Founder of New Chapter Production Ltd, I have provided strategic counsel to international clients and festivals, including the Manaki Brothers and the Mallorca International Film Festival, focusing on commercial repositioning, value led marketing, innovation capability, and emerging trends and technology. Beyond my executive roles, I support both industry engagement and development through a series of board and advisory positions. I sit on the UK Board of SMPTE, advise the AHRC (UKRI) Reframe inclusive futures for screen initiative. Co-Founder of Women in Virtual Production, and am a member of BAFTA Connect. I have also been a long-standing advocate for industry training and events, delivering programmes for ScreenSkills, Screen Ireland and universities including Westminster, and Solent.I am driven by industry engagement and the technical and commercial evolution of the screen industries as we shift towards integrated, multi-platform content strategies. I am constantly interested in the point where technical excellence meets commercial thinking, creating work that delivers measurable impact and responds with agility to exactly where the market is moving next.
