About Carol Tarantino
NBC Network News was the start of my career in broadcast television. I worked in the political unit, then on the TODAY Show as a production unit manager and as a field producer for the Weekend Today Show. I traveled across the United States and abroad producing live and taped pieces. After a rewarding career at NBC, I received my M.F.A. from Sarah Lawrence in theatre and studied acting and directing. I joined Bloomberg Media in 2006 and produced Bloomberg On Demand, The Business of Life personal finance segments and led a team of producers creating a library of more than one hundred videos on education, real estate, investing and retirement. I developed and produced Bloomberg\'s Educated Investor and Master Class, a series of multi-level instructional videos on currency trading that aired in Europe, Asia and Bloomberg.com. I moved to the Bloomberg\'s Media Licensing & Distribution team and launched a video suite of products including business, technology, Investing and politics feeds for global syndication. After seven years at Bloomberg Media, I moved to the Marketing Division and produced content for the Global Events team and developed the video strategy for Bloomberg\'s New Energy Finance Summits live stage productions in May of 2014 & 2015. In 2016, I freelance as a consultant and producer for broadcast, digital and live events.
