In my role as a Cyber Security Analyst,(Networking), I specialize in the robust management of Palo Alto firewalls and ensure secure, seamless connectivity across our network infrastructure, with a side focus on hybrid environments leveraging AWS. My responsibilities encompass physical equipment setup in data centers, configuration of firewalls from scratch, and comprehensive management of firewall policies, site-to-site VPNs, and NAT rules. My expertise also includes the deployment and management of SD-WAN technologies and working with Barracuda Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to enhance our defensive posture against cybersecurity threats.Key Responsibilities:Firewall Management: Deployment, configuration, and optimization of Palo Alto firewalls, upholding the highest standards of network security and integrity.Hybrid Network Management: Assists with the integration and management of network security solutions within a hybrid AWS environment, ensuring seamless operation between cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures.Data Center Operations: Execute critical tasks such as racking and setting up network equipment in data centers, maintaining physical security and operational efficiency.VPN Configuration and Management: Design and implement secure site-to-site VPNs, facilitating encrypted connections across the network.Policy and NAT Rule Development: Craft tailored firewall policies and NAT rules to meet specific security and connectivity needs.Firewall Migrations: Support the strategic migration of firewall systems, ensuring continuity and security throughout the process.Vendor Collaboration: Engage with vendors to understand their requirements and collaborate on building secure, efficient network connections.SD-WAN Deployment: Enhance network flexibility and cost-efficiency through the management of SD-WAN technologies.
