An app designed to combine event planning and cost splitting between friends. Helping people create, organise and keep track of events they are attending. Times, locations, todos, expenses can all be tracked with this app. Attendees have a private chat to help them organise. At the end, participants can use the app to see the total cost of all expenses, a break down of who owes how much as well as a suggested payment plan to help minimize the number of transactions needed to get everyone settled. Useful for everything from a pizza party to a trip abroad.My role touched on all aspects of the program to some degree, however I primarily focused on implementing Redux with Redux Toolkit into our program as well as designing the algorithms for our expense calculations on the backend.Tech Stack: Node.js, Typescript, React, Redux, Redux Toolkit, Express, Cloudinary, Postgres, Websocket, Tailwind.
