Recently promoted to support two hospital sites within the organization, comprising of employees. Leads the management of the hospital’s Human Resource’s intiatives in order to meet the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. Responsibilities extend to provide administrative oversight of organizational training and development and employee health. Provides management direction for the functions and departments supervised. Develops responsive, results-oriented Human Resources support related to recruitment, compliance with relevant federal and state labor laws, performance appraisal, wage and salary administration, benefits administration, employee relations and training/development that are viewed as key contributors to the success of the organization. Contributes effectively to the strategic manpower planning process, which anticipates current and future staffing requirements; anticipates and advises of impending problems in meeting needs; and recommends means of resolution of such problems. In conjunction with the corporate HR department, formulates and recommends personnel policies compliant with legal and regulatory guidelines. Effectively leads, manages and directs department employees. Establishes performance goals, and allocates resources, facilitates development and enforcement of policies and procedures for direct reports and ancillary staff. Heavily involved with labor relations initiatives, including monthly labor management meetings, interfacing with CBA enterprises and attorneys for effects bargaining and various grievances processes, and advises executive leadership accordingly Management of Department Managers to assist in the resolution of employee-related issues and interpretation of HR policies/procedures. Assists in coordinating planning activities within the hospital, including development of the hospital’s short and long range plans.
