Effectively manages the portfolio health of Wholesale Centralized Commercial Credit with a $3B portfolio size. Develops and leads 10 credit officers and analysts. Serves as the SME for credit portfolio management while approving credit requests up to loan authority. Responsible for review and approval of facilities, approving loans, leases and lines of credit in excess of business unit or credit officer authority levels including the analysis of deal structure and documents, collateral evaluation and due diligence, internal rating analysis, and stress testing. Develops guidance/policies and monitors delinquency, loss, and risk rating accuracy across business units, and reviews group\'s loan underwriting and portfolio management performance for senior management/regulatory agency review. Develops portfolio management strategies for various lines of business in Centralized Commercial Credit including Private Wealth, Equipment Finance, CRE, C&I, for in-market teams. Applies in-depth knowledge to managing risk ratings, exceptions, covenants, past dues, maturities, and credit risk within the portfolio and new money requests. Promotes a low delinquency and exception rate with few month-end carries by administering effective team training and applying appropriate policies to mitigate the risk. Evaluates complex and variable credit risk issues with significant potential impact, when developing a strategy or taking actions necessitates assessing many options and balancing contradictory scenarios using multiple sources of data. Develop and execute special projects to aid with the continuous improvement of portfolio management.
