As the director of vision services at NEWH, I oversee all aspects of patient care within the vision department at two clinical sites in Boston and Charlestown. I\'ve increased department productivity by 3% in 2016 when health center underwent EHR transition, then by 21% in 2017. I also orient new optometrists, staff, and student interns to the department; teach policies on electronic health record (EHR), optical sales, and clinic protocols. I am EPIC Peer Trainer Certified, serve on the Quality Assurance Committee, and participate in outreach events in the community regularly. I was featured in the March 2019 edition of Women of Optometry magazine as a community health center optometrist.
