About Crystal L. Gunn

Committed to breaking “the chains of financial bondage” in the Pan-African community, CRYSTAL L. GUNN is a fiscal strategist, transformational leader, and advocate for economic empowerment. Through her work, she has helped countless individuals, families, and businesses achieve financial freedom by guiding them in homeownership, credit building, estate planning, entrepreneurship, life insurance, and wealth-building strategies. Gunn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Michigan State University and has spent over 20 years in finance. She began her career in mortgage banking and later became Vice President of Municipal and Health Services Credit Union in Pontiac, MI, making history as the youngest and only African American VP in the Oakland County Chapter of Credit Unions. She later transitioned into entrepreneurship, public speaking, coaching, and authorship, building a legacy of financial education and empowerment. As Founder and CEO of the Amazing Woman Network (AWN), Gunn leads a global movement focused on uniting and empowering Black women through personal power (mind, body, spirit), financial power, and social impact. She is also the Founder and President of United Community Solutions (UCS), a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening and revitalizing low-to-moderate-income communities. In her role as Chairman of the Detroit Black Chamber of Commerce, she actively works to uplift Black businesses through strategic advocacy and economic solutions. She is also a proud member of Detla Sigma Theta Incorporated. In honor of Women’s History Month, Gunn is launching an unprecedented insurance benefits initiative through AWN—a groundbreaking opportunity for the community at large.
