About Crystal Bailey
I am a physicist and educator who supports my community by helping students and early career physicists become better prepared for their futures in the scientific workforce, and academic faculty become better career mentors. I am passionate about evolving physics into a modern, workforce relevant discipline which not only provides adequate career preparedness for students, but which also gives them tools to capitalize on the discipline\'s natural habit of innovation to create world changing solutions.

In my role as Director of Careers, Education and Inclusive Communities, I\'m responsible for leading and managing activities which advance the organization\'s mission by fostering a culture of equity and inclusion across its membership and the broader physics community, and supporting programs and initiatives that ensure an effective and trained STEM workforce for the future. Our team aims to achieve these goals not only through supporting individual success, but also improving the systems and culture in which those individuals operate.
