Most families don’t start thinking about senior care… until the moment they have to.And when that moment comes, it can feel overwhelming.I know this because my journey into senior care didn’t begin as a business idea.It began with my Granny.She was brilliant, compassionate, and the heart of our family. The kind of woman who quietly held everyone together with wisdom and grace. She lived to be 97 years old and left behind a legacy of love, generosity, and resilience.When I lost my father — her only child — I was 31 and just beginning my own family.In the middle of that grief, my Granny became my anchor.And during the final year of her life, I had the honor of becoming her full-time caregiver.It was one of the greatest privileges of my life.It also opened my eyes to a reality many families eventually face.When it came time to find the right memory care home for her, I searched everywhere.But nothing felt right.I couldn’t find a place that gave me the peace of mind I needed… or the level of care she truly deserved.That experience planted a seed. Today that seed has grown into something much bigger.Honeysuckle House exists because of my Granny.We are creating a residential assisted living home where families can finally feel the trust and peace of mind they deserve.A place where residents are treated like family.Where care isn’t just clinical… it’s personal, thoughtful, and rooted in compassion.Everything we do is built on five core values:ServiceTeamworkCompassionExcellenceIntegrityThese aren’t just words on a wall.
