   As Director of Development & Marketing my overall responsibilities are designing and executing NNEMAP’s fund development and marketing strategies to assist in fulfilling NNEMAP’s mission.Additional Responsibilities Include-Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and recognizing donors through personal contact, fundraising and awareness events, and solicitation of corporate gifts-Work with the Executive Director to set relationship management and fundraising goals-Develop metrics to measure and track progress toward those goals-In partnership with the Executive Director, plans and oversee fundraising and donor cultivation events-Manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors via Donorsnap-Research and writes grants and/or directs grant writing to obtain funding from foundations and local organizations-Recruit corporate volunteers as a method of developing corporate relationships-Create and distribute NNEMAP message via social media, newsletter as well as create content to market NNEMAP-Work with local media to find opportunities to publicize NNEMAP-Sit on Fundraising and Marketing Committee with the Executive Director and -Board leadership-Attend NNEMAP Network meetings-Create reports for NNEMAP full board meetings to provide status updates on development and marketing efforts-Special projects as the discretion of the Executive Director-Report to the Executive Director with oversight by the Governance Committee-Actively promotes NNEMAP’s mission, services, programs, and events-Represent NNEMAP in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
