Assist in the research, development and introduction of new and improved products by compiling and analyzing the needs of the North American customers and dealers. • Act as a liaison with various engineering groups in Japan and North America on all issues related to new product developments and pre-launch and post-launch activities to ensure Toyota branded products meet and exceed the North American market demands. • Lead product/market surveys and also provide product information to dealers and customers as it relates to Toyota product specifications and competitive features. • Assist sales, marketing, training and product marketing activities by providing detailed technical support and product information. • Accompany the sales department as required with customer presentations and product demonstrations.• Facilitate and coordinate vendor visits. • As needed, assist management with research related to Global Product Planning projects. • Monitor outside sources to maintain awareness of market issues/product updates. • Facilitate and coordinate various customer visits for prototype truck evaluations. • Support marketing department activities such as new product press releases, dealer meetings and various trade shows. • Develop and maintain sales support materials including the Forklift Manual, Price Book, option pages, specification sheets and sales brochures.
