I work with clients on issues including energy, natural resources, and business/corporate needs.My experience includes oil and gas, public and private land use, renewable energy, environmental issues, settlement negotiations, federal and state administrative work - including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Public Utility Commissions of Wyoming and Colorado, and the Department of Agriculture. I have extensive experience with the Public Utility Regulatory Policy Act (PURPA) and the proper siting of renewable energy developments.I frequently represent estates that include minerals, oil and gas leases, and solar or wind leases and assist clients with the complicated process of administering those estates.In addition, I work with small businesses/corporations as general counsel for their legal needs, including contract drafting and disputes, negotiations, and general matters.
