About Crystal Lee
I am a graduate student in cognitive psychology at Princeton University, working towards a career in UX research. I\'m in interested in understanding how people behave and why they think the way they do, from children to adults. My research has focused on answering how children and adults learn language. My experience conducting research with children is a unique one. Research with children can create issues in the research process (e.g, how do I create an experiment that will sustain the attention of a 2-year-old), but successfully responding to obstacles that arise have been an invaluable experience. I love all aspects of research, from creating interesting questions, using both quantitative and qualitative methods to answer research questions, and finding data-driven insights using advanced statistics. I am a motivated team member and communicate effectively within and across teams, an efficient and empathetic leader, and quick learner. My work as a researcher has been recognized for its significance and merit through several grants, including from the National Science Foundation, and publications at prominent science journals. After obtaining my PhD, I am committed to using my research skills to enhance the relationship between users and products.
