Meeting Services Intern @HPN Global

I’m currently a Meeting Services Intern at HPN Global, going through a 15-week program that gives me hands-on experience with everything from housing and registration to sales support and supplier coordination. I’m involved in day-to-day tasks like managing attendee info, helping with requests for proposals (RFPs) from destination management companies (DMCs), and using Salesforce to track sales leads and updates. I also get to work alongside both the sales and operations teams, learning how client services, service-level agreements (SLAs), and event logistics all come together behind the scenes. What makes this experience even more rewarding is how much HPN emphasizes values like relationship-building, following through on commitments, and showing kindness and enthusiasm in everything. It’s been a great way to build real-world skills in planning, communication, and customer relationship management systems and at the end of the internship, I’ll get to attend HPN’s annual partners conference, which I’ve helped coordinate.
