ABOUT CHARLES R. ROGERS

Charles R. Rogers, PhD, MPH, MS, MCHES® is a nationally recognized health equity and cancer disparities researcher advancing colorectal cancer prevention, early detection, and equitable access to high-quality care. His work bridges public health, behavioral science, mixed methods, and community engagement to reduce screening gaps and eliminate systemic health inequities. Dr. Rogers is the Founder and President of the Colorectal Cancer Equity Foundation, leading national efforts to address disparities in colorectal cancer screening, early-onset colorectal cancer, and survivorship. He also serves as Founding Director of the Men’s Health Inequities Research Lab and Founder and Chief Advisor of Rogers Solutions Group, advising institutions on health equity strategy, prevention science, and culturally responsive care models. In this capacity, he has advised institutions stewarding multi-billion dollar assets on aligning capital with measurable community impact. Dr. Rogers’ training spans applied mathematics, applied statistics, health education, and public health. His scholarship integrates quantitative methods, behavioral theory, and community-based participatory research to examine cancer screening behaviors, structural inequities, and prevention strategies. Dr. Rogers has secured millions in competitive funding from organizations including the National Cancer Institute and the V Foundation for Cancer Research. His research on colorectal cancer disparities and early-onset colorectal cancer has informed policy conversations and clinical practice nationally and internationally. Dr. Rogers\' work has been featured on NPR and ESPN and published in journals such as The Lancet Oncology and JAMA Health Forum. He has received honors including 40 Under 40 Leader in Minority Health recognition and an Endowed Chair. Dr. Rogers believes advancing health equity requires rigorous science, culturally grounded engagement, and structural accountability.
