   Establish an outpatient multiple myeloma clinic at a new location with 5 practicing MDs on-site including Dr. Sundar Jagannath and Dr. Joshua Richter; • Collaborate with attending doctors to create and implement treatment plans for patients with multiple myeloma, Waldenstroem’s Macroglobulinemia, and AL amyloidosis; • Develop my own outpatient clinic: Interpret lab, imaging, and pathology results to assess for diagnosis, remission, and relapse and escalate high-acuity cases as appropriate; • Assess patients in the on-site infusion suite prior to receiving treatment and respond to reactions/emergencies throughout; • Evaluate patients on clinical trials and implement research protocols as defined by IRBs; • Develop and manage a bone marrow biopsy clinic featuring procedures with and without sedation; • Train, educate, hire, and evaluate performance for the Chelsea myeloma team which includes another PA, RNs, and MAs; • Coordinate goals-of-care and end-of-life discussions with patients throughout their disease course; • Participate in tumor boards, grand rounds, and additional education opportunities.
