About Cristin Burton

Hi I’m Cristin. I’m a copywriter. I started my 15+ years long career as an art director in New York City at ad agencies, and for the past 12 years I have worked in-house at tech companies, most recently at Audible where I worked on campaigns for Audible Originals like David Spade’s Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World and Heads Will Roll, an audio comedy starring Kate Mckinnon. I also worked on multi-title campaigns like Audible Comedy, the Black History Month collection, and more. While at Audible, I began transitioning to copywriter and putting together a body of work. It’s not a big stretch. I’ve spent most of my career working closely with copywriters, punching-up and editing-down scripts and assisting on tag-line riffing, while always striving to start with a strong creative strategy and see work holistically and tonally. No matter my role, I’m always driven to find the sweet spot between a really weird idea and the perfect satisfaction of a brief. I live in Brooklyn where I like to play softball, ride a bike, and make miniatures.
