Oversee programming, collections, and exhibitions that uplift and center the powerful lived experiences of LGBTQIA people. Manage a collection of 11K+ materials that serves the needs of a casual reader to an academic researcher, which includes rare materials and archives, contemporary writing from creative to academic, and local and national magazines and newspapers. Collaborate with fellow LGBTQIA Center librarian to develop diverse, engaging public programming in partnership with community-based organizations, local government, artists and writers. As the first BIPOC program manager since the Center’s opening in 1996, champion racial equity, representation and reflection in all aspects of this work.
