ABOUT CRISTINA ROHENA
My interests lie in life science microscopy with a focus on customer support. My greatest satisfaction comes from solving technical problems and customer issues thereby enabling their microscopy work and needs.I am trained in cell biology with a focus in drug discovery and cancer biology. I completed a postdoc in the lab of Pradipta Ghosh at UCSD. Focusing on the characterization of a family of proteins that regulate the crosstalk of tyrosine kinase and g protein signaling, acting as rheostats to amplify the signal. My PhD work focused on molecular mechanisms of action of a diverse class of microtubule targeting agents. I collaborated with other laboratories in the screening of synthetic compounds made to interact with tubulin/microtubules.
