Prioritize of operations to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of all orders, completing 20-50 entries daily for both ingredients and packaging items. • Enforce plant QA, hygiene, Allergen controls, Cleaning, Sanitation, Pest Control and GMP policies by conducting Spanish new hire training to 3-7 employees weekly. • Lead the packaging category sourcing activities in CA, WA, AZ, Canada, GA region, overseeing all activities related to procurement of packaging, from approving through delivery of the material.• Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with company guidelines by creating vendor scorecards, helping determine the approval of suppliers.• Investigated problems, found root causes, and developed solutions by creating defective material reports and deviations evaluating 80-100 claims yearly.• Develop requirements and standards operational procedures for incoming packaging and ingredients material according to quality standards.• Conducted monthly internal quality audits in both CPG and Fresh plants to ensure compliance by all employees and other personnel in the manufacturing facility.• Calibrate laboratory instruments daily: Balances, Brix Refractometers, CEM machine, Turbidimeter, pH meters and TA electrodes.• Completed weekly Expired/Hold Reports for both packaging and ingredients overseeing the “on hold” and “rejected” item program from the status, release, and disposition of rejected items.• Verified and approved items daily by ensuring Certificate of Analysis and Certificate of Compliance from suppliers were within specification, completing 20-30 approvals from both packaging and ingredient sectors.• Created Master Safety Data Sheets binder on a yearly basis for chemicals used in the lab detailing the physical and chemical properties of the product.• In charge of the reclass of the CHEP pallets completing the reports on a weekly basis, entering 6-10 entries from Canadian to Hawaii reclassification.
